!The leading causes of fires were cooking equipment (22.3%), heating equipment (16.7%), and suspicious causes (12.3%).

!Leading causes of injuries in fires were cooking equipment (24.2%), children playing with matches (12.7%), and smoking materials (11.4%).

!Leading causes of deaths in fire were smoking materials (22.9%), suspicious causes (17%), and heating equipment (13.4%).
