HED 302s Driver Performance Test II Usage

The Driver Performance Test II video tapes that you need to review and take are now available for a limited time at:

http://www.siu.edu/~ritzel/courses/302s/DVD

The tapes are available in both .wmv and .mpg formats.  The .wmv format will work best for most of you.  Just click on the appropriate file for each unit/final exam you want to review.

The video tapes you will be reviewing include the 6 units of instruction relating to driver performance highlighting the SIPDE process of driving.  You must review these units in order of presentation and must review all parts of each unit before going on to the next unit.  Only after you have reviewed all parts of units 1-6 should you then take the Driver Performance Test II video (called final exam).  The six units will prepare you for the video test.  The six units include:

Unit 1 – Introduction (26:34 minutes)

Unit 2 – Search (21.04 minutes)

Unit 3 – Identify (14:46 minutes)

Unit 4 – Predict (19:45 minutes)

Unit 5 – Decide (18:57 minutes)

Unit 6 – Execute (22:20 minutes)

When you take the Driver Performance Test II video (final examination) (about 34 minutes long), please follow the directions shown on the score sheet (you must complete the score sheet when you take the video test).  You should print out of copy of the score sheet before starting the video test. You must take the video test in one sitting without stopping and starting the video.  You must not go back and review any particular scene.  Your score sheet should be returned to:
